A couple of new sights in our home

So...I walked into the family room while I was preparing dinner tonight and found this:

Yes, car stickers plastered onto my leather chair - that's not a sight that I'm used to in this house! On the other hand, maybe they were simply a peace offering to Frankie, our cat. She and Yikealo haven't been too impressed with each other thus far. She keeps giving us these disgusted looks as if to say, "WHEN are his parents coming to pick him up? You can't possibly mean to KEEP him!" and he keeps trying to make friends with her like a typical little boy, ie: pulling her tail as she walks by the dinner table at supper time, or throwing his ball at her in the hopes that she'll start to play catch with him. It hasn't worked yet, and from the looks of it, she's not thrilled about his latest attempt either.

Also, today we played together in the wading pool in the backyard. He LOVED it, which is fascinating, considering that he is terrified of the bathtub, and absolutely hates to have his hair washed. This afternoon, he spent the better part of an hour dumping cups of water over his head. Kids...who can figure them out? I just had to post a picture of him though - obviously, this is NOT a starving Ethiopian child!!
